Bay Leaves

Origin: Native to Asia minor, but is grown around the Mediterranean.

Flavour: Notes of camphor with an aroma combination of menthol and eucalyptus.

Uses: Pairs well with other Mediterranean herbs such as marjoram, oregano, sage, savoury, thyme, and rosemary. Best in stews, braises and other long-simmered dishes.
