Also known as Caribbean red peppers, Bonney Peppers, Scotty Bobs, and Boabs Bonnet. Found mainly in the Caribbean islands with a heat eating of 350,000 Scoville units.
The Scotch Bonnet has a sweeter flavour and stouter shape, distinct from its habanero cousin. It gives jerk dishes and other Caribbean dishes their unique flavour.
