Black Salt (Kala Namak)
Himalayan Black Salt or Kala Namak. A rock salt mined in Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and other locations in the Himalayas. Pungent, savoury, and umami in flavour. Also due to its subtle, sulphurous aroma similar to eggs, it’s used in many vegan dishes providing an egg like flavour.
Black salt is a good alternative to regular table salt, as it contains less sodium and does not cause water retention and bloating.
Black Salt helps prevent muscle spasms and cramps. It contains small amounts of potassium, which is crucial to muscle functioning, and also helps the body absorb the essential mineral.

1 1/4 cup firm tofu
3/4 tsp Black Salt/Kala Namak
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp canola oil
1 tbsp fresh parsley
