Black Salt (Kala Namak)

Himalayan Black Salt (Kala Namak). A rock salt mined in Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and other locations in the Himalayas. Pungent, savoury, and umami in flavour. Also due to its subtle, sulphurous aroma similar to eggs, it’s used in many vegan dishes providing an egg like flavour.

Black Salt helps prevent muscle spasms and cramps. It contains small amounts of potassium, which is crucial to muscle functioning, and also helps the body absorb the essential mineral.
